WITSML 2.0 and ETP 1.1 Update

With the official releases of WITSML 2.0 and ETP 1.1 out in the wild, we wanted to take the opportunity to update all of the open source components utilizing the latest generations of these standards. Along with the ETP DevKit, we have also pushed our recent changes and bug fixes for PDS WITSML Server and PDS WITSML Studio to their respective GitHub repositories.

Release Notes

WITSML Server

  • Updated ETP NuGet package to v1.5.0 for ETP v1.1 release
  • Updated to latest version of ETP DevKit
  • Updated support for WITSML 2.0 data objects
    • Added new data object - Rig Utilization
  • Optimized Channel Streaming Producer and Consumer providers
  • Minor bug fixes

WITSML Studio

  • Updated ETP NuGet package to v1.5.0 for ETP v1.1 release
  • Updated to latest version of ETP DevKit
  • Updated support for WITSML 2.0 data objects
  • Added “Refresh Selected” context menu options
    • WITSML Browser > Hierarchy tab
    • ETP Browser > Discovery tab
  • Added “Pretty Print” context menu option for all XML text editors
  • Added “Data Object” tab in ETP Browser to display WITSML data objects
  • Minor bug fixes
